Garden Home's Holiday Bazaar

Join us on Saturday, December 3rd at Garden Home's Holiday Bazaar! It is held at the Garden Home Recreation Center at 7475 SW Oleson Rd, Portland, OR, 97223. Hours are from 9 am to 4 pm. There are going to be over 100 vendors selling handcrafted items here! Plus there is a pancake breakfast, a raffle, and a huge used book sale! Duniway Elementary Holiday Boutique!

We will be at the Duniway Elementary Holiday Boutique on Friday, December 2nd from 10 am to 7:30 pm. It is held at Duniway Elementary School at 7700 SE Reed College Place which is on the corner of Reed College Place and Rex Streets. The boutique itself takes place in the south gym of the school. There is a centralized cashier to make it easy for shoppers to only pay once for all of their shopping. In addition, 20 % of all vendor sales go directly to Duniway Elementary to benefit the students. Check out their website for more info.

PDX Craft - A Holiday Marketplace!

Hello! This is kind of our most exciting post this year! Urban Designs Unique Jewelry by NW Artists will be at PDX Craft - A Holiday Marketplace tomorrow, Saturday November 26th! The event itself was entirely put together by us - Urban Designs!!! We are incredibly excited to showcase some amazing local talent and all handmade goods at the show.

We will have 33 vendors at the event showcasing their wares from 10 am to 5 pm. It is being held at Open Bible Church at 3223 SE 92nd Ave, Portland, OR, 97266. We also have lots of food such as homemade soups and yummy sweet treats available for purchase that help support the Youth Program.

Gramma's Bazaar ~ November 19th, 2011

Join us, Saturday, November 19th for Gramma's Bazaar up at Vancouver's First Church of God. The bazaar is held in the gym from 9 am to 4 pm and features over a hundred vendors featuring hand crafted gifts. Address is 3300 NE 78th St, Vancouver, WA, 98665. Lewis Elementary School Bazaar!

Our 2nd show of the season is at the Lewis Elementary School Bazaar! We love this show and are proud to have been a part of it for years now. Here are the details... Hours run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 5th. It is located at Meriwether Lewis Elementary School at 4401 SE Evergreen Street, Portland, OR. July's Last Thursday, 7/28

Urban Designs will be at Last Thursday on NE Alberta Street tomorrow after 1 pm by NE 22nd Ave on NE Alberta Street. We set up in front of Townshend's Tea House and have for several years now... The show is officially open from 7 pm to 10 pm and the street is closed and open to the public. We will be there setting up and ready for people by 4 or 5 though :) It's going to be 80 + degrees so we hope it's a busy one ;)

1st Annual Montavilla Street Fair

On Sunday, July 17th we will be at the Montavilla Street Fair for its' first annual celebration! It will be open from 10 am until 5 pm and you will find craft vendors like us of course, live music, a beer and wine garden, and kids activities. It is being held on two different blocks, on SE 78th between Washington and Stark and on SE 79th between Stark and Pine. We are going to be on SE 70th right by Flying Pie Pizza, YUM!

Sat. Nov. 20th, Gramma's Bazaar...

Join Urban Designs this weekend on November 20 at Gramma's Bazaar! It is being held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is located at the First Church of God at Kingsway Christian School at 3300 NE 78th Street, in Vancouver, WA.

Exciting for us, as it is our first ever Vancouver bazaar!

13th Annual Alberta Street Fair ~ August 21st, 2010

Please come join Sarah and Jen at the 13th Annual Alberta Street Fair this Saturday, August 21st!

It runs from 11 am to 9 pm and is one of the best fair events around. Not only are there live concerts all day long on three different entertainment stages, there are over 150 vendors, a parade, a kids corner, and a beer garden! We love this event!

We will be located in between 19th and 20th streets awaiting your visit :)

July 2010 Last Thursday...

Hey ya'll it's that time again! Get your booties to NE Alberta Street and 22nd in front of Townshend's..... HA! It's Last Thursday and Urban Designs is going to be there on the streets with our creations. By the way we have even more new stuff! We showed off a few new things at the Mississippi Street Fair, but now we have even more. New barrette designs, probably 50 new pairs! New pendants too! It will be in the lower 80's so it's perfect weather to hang outside... just don't forget the mosquito repellant, yikes :-P

Our last 2009 Event! The Hip Happening Sat. 12/12/09.

Our last holiday show of 2009 is upon us on this Saturday, December 12th. The Hip Happening event runs from 11 am to 6 pm and is located at 7126 SE Milwaukie Street in Portland, OR. There will be some live music happening from 12 pm to 1 pm and Santa Claus himself will be there from 1 pm to 3 pm! The main floor is filled and we heard they're filling the lower level as well so come do your last minute Holiday shopping!

Alberta Street Fair 2009~ 12th Annual

Come and check out the Alberta Street Fair on Saturday, September 19th, 2009! It runs from 11 am to 6 pm and includes a fun and unique parade as well, usually complete with stilt walkers and unicyclists. Alberta Street will be closed from NE 15th Street to NE 30th Street and open to the public for walking along up and down browsing the booths. Urban Designs Unique Jewelry by NW Artists will be in space 98, in between NE 16th and NE 17th Streets in front of Halo Thai. We love events on Alberta! They are fun, crazy, and extremely entertaining! Please come join us :)

Sellwood Park Bazaar...

Face Painting Fun...

Thought it would be fun to share our face painting pics from the Hip Happening in August. Jen decided she wanted to do it and said I had to do it too! I wasn't so sure. But we pinky sweared and I couldn't let the girl down ha ha. Check out the results... :)

Hip Happening! Saturday August 8th

Last Thursday on Alberta!

Even though it's bound to be scorching hot again during this week of 100 degree temperatures, we're still going for it! On July 30th we will be at the Last Thursday on Alberta street inbetween 22nd and 23rd drinking water and selling our wares... We have a bunch of new miniature domino designs! Ice cream cones, popsicles, flip flops, flowers, monsters, owls, and birds! Please come on down after the sun lets up and walk the streets. We love it and know you will too!
