Last Thursday in September!

What do you know?! It's September and it's nice out! Like almost 80 degrees out today! This is the nicest weather of the month and we are thrilled to be doing Last Thursday today! Come down and meet us in front of Townshend's Tea inbetween NE 22nd and NE 23rd Streets on NE Alberta from 6pm to 10pm for the last little bit of summer :)

August's Last Thursday!

It was another crazy, but fun filled night at Last Thursday! Look to the left to see some of our lovely, soft and fluffy tutus on display. We made them filled with rows of fluffy tulle and ribbons. They are tie-on wrap arounds so they fit any little one's waist! Perfect for those babies, little toddlers, and growing up girls :)



The crowds were crazy busy today just like last time! Adding to the craziness, right down from our spot we had a DJ playing bollywood music, dancing, plus a couple of ladies doing difficult yogi/gymnast poses. Check out the pics!

Alberta Street Fair, 2011

We had a pretty good day, and here are some pics to enjoy! The first photo shows our booth and both Jen and Sarah hiding behind the tables haha...

The next two pictures are way awesome and were pulled off of the Alberta Street Fair's Photobucket album and their Facebook page! One of the people associated with the event came by and snapped a couple of photos. They loved our barrettes and their colorful amazing-ness!! Love!

Last Thursday in July!

This was literally the craziest Last Thursday we have ever been at! The crowds of people were monsterous and the music loud and bananas! We have some cool pics to share with you of the requisite stiltwalker parade, Jen wearing one of her awesome fairy tiara creations, and of the crazy crowds as well! Yes, that photo to the bottom left implies the woman was not wearing a shirt... because she wasn't! See? Crazy!

July's Last Thursday, 7/28

Urban Designs will be at Last Thursday on NE Alberta Street tomorrow after 1 pm by NE 22nd Ave on NE Alberta Street. We set up in front of Townshend's Tea House and have for several years now... The show is officially open from 7 pm to 10 pm and the street is closed and open to the public. We will be there setting up and ready for people by 4 or 5 though :) It's going to be 80 + degrees so we hope it's a busy one ;)

Last Thursday in June...

Hello! Wanted to remind all of you that we will be at Last Thursday on June 30th from the afternoon probably around 3 pm until 10 pm that night! We will be there with all of our wares, ready to see all the friendly people and enjoy hopefully- a nice day!!

We do have one of our new bow style barrettes there for sale for the first time! Come get them while they're hot and new!

We will be at our regular spot of course, in front of Townshend's Tea House on NE Alberta near NE 22nd Avenue. See ya there!

Like clockwork, it's time for Last Thursday~ August edition. Urban Designs will again be down in front of Townshend's Teas by NE 22nd Ave, from 2 pm to 10 pm! Come check it out as Last Thursday's are going to soon be a thing of the past :(

July 2010 Last Thursday...

Hey ya'll it's that time again! Get your booties to NE Alberta Street and 22nd in front of Townshend's..... HA! It's Last Thursday and Urban Designs is going to be there on the streets with our creations. By the way we have even more new stuff! We showed off a few new things at the Mississippi Street Fair, but now we have even more. New barrette designs, probably 50 new pairs! New pendants too! It will be in the lower 80's so it's perfect weather to hang outside... just don't forget the mosquito repellant, yikes :-P

Alberta Street Fair 2009~ 12th Annual

Come and check out the Alberta Street Fair on Saturday, September 19th, 2009! It runs from 11 am to 6 pm and includes a fun and unique parade as well, usually complete with stilt walkers and unicyclists. Alberta Street will be closed from NE 15th Street to NE 30th Street and open to the public for walking along up and down browsing the booths. Urban Designs Unique Jewelry by NW Artists will be in space 98, in between NE 16th and NE 17th Streets in front of Halo Thai. We love events on Alberta! They are fun, crazy, and extremely entertaining! Please come join us :)

Last Thursday on Alberta!

Even though it's bound to be scorching hot again during this week of 100 degree temperatures, we're still going for it! On July 30th we will be at the Last Thursday on Alberta street inbetween 22nd and 23rd drinking water and selling our wares... We have a bunch of new miniature domino designs! Ice cream cones, popsicles, flip flops, flowers, monsters, owls, and birds! Please come on down after the sun lets up and walk the streets. We love it and know you will too!

Alberta Art Hop!

Sarah will be at the Alberta Art Hop on Saturday on 19th street on the North side, spot 01. Come check us out!

Come see us at the Alberta Street Fair!

Hey everybody! Come see us at the Alberta Street Fair on Saturday September 13th which is of course held on NE Alberta Street! We are selling our pendants, barrettes, and magnets! Our booth will be on the south side of the street inbetween 16th and 17th streets.

There are vendors, people watching, and even a parade to see! It all starts around 11 am. Come by and say hi!

We will be sharing a booth with our bestie Tricia and her totally awesome T shirt and sweartshirt business called Felt Up Tees! You have to check her stuff out! Tricia designs and sews on handmade appliques and also does original screenprints of her designs onto all kinds of shirts.

Fun at the Last Thursday!

On the last Thursday of the month... we always go to the Last Thursday celebration on Alberta Street in NE Portland. It is a flipping blast! There are so many artisans selling their wares full of so much creativity and of such large proportions it is amazing. The street fills up with people and it honestly feels kind of like either a huge block party or a New Orleans Mardi Gras (and yes we have been to New Orleans to be able to make a party comparison!) :)

There are vendors selling: food, clothing, jewelry, candles, artwork, Cd's, books, furniture, and more! The list is literally endless. So much to see... no time to see it all! We try to take turns walking around to be able to window shop and people watch... there are a serious amount of different types of people there to take a look at we tell you... We love the diversity!

We decided to bring our camera this last time to capture the moment. Check out our pics above!
