Like clockwork, it's time for Last Thursday~ August edition. Urban Designs will again be down in front of Townshend's Teas by NE 22nd Ave, from 2 pm to 10 pm! Come check it out as Last Thursday's are going to soon be a thing of the past :(

13th Annual Alberta Street Fair ~ August 21st, 2010

Please come join Sarah and Jen at the 13th Annual Alberta Street Fair this Saturday, August 21st!

It runs from 11 am to 9 pm and is one of the best fair events around. Not only are there live concerts all day long on three different entertainment stages, there are over 150 vendors, a parade, a kids corner, and a beer garden! We love this event!

We will be located in between 19th and 20th streets awaiting your visit :)

July 2010 Last Thursday...

Hey ya'll it's that time again! Get your booties to NE Alberta Street and 22nd in front of Townshend's..... HA! It's Last Thursday and Urban Designs is going to be there on the streets with our creations. By the way we have even more new stuff! We showed off a few new things at the Mississippi Street Fair, but now we have even more. New barrette designs, probably 50 new pairs! New pendants too! It will be in the lower 80's so it's perfect weather to hang outside... just don't forget the mosquito repellant, yikes :-P

Mississippi Street Fair! Saturday, July 10th, 2010.

Come join Urban Designs tomorrow at the Mississippi Street Fair! We will be in space #114 where ever that is! Ha ha. Come find us and the fun, shopping, food, live music, parade, and much more!

On Saturday July 10th from 10 am to 9 pm on N Mississippi Ave between N Fremont and N Skidmore. There will be 150 street vendors, 5 stages of entertainment, a Whole Foods bite tasting, and even a brew garden...

2010 Alberta Art Hop 5/15

Happy Spring to all!

We are so happy to finally announce our first 2010 show!

We will be at the Alberta Art Hop on Saturday, May 15th from 11 am to 6 pm. We are located at the crossroad of NE 19th Street and NE Alberta Street. Our space is #1 which we believe is our same spot from last year - so funny!

We hope to see you there this year as there is an amazing amount of activity going on that day for all of you to participate in! There are three murals being painted live that day to watch as they are created, and a fourth mural is going to be painted by the visiting public! So come get your paint on :)
As always, there will be plenty of amazing live music - in fact there are 8 different stages!
Let's not forget, the numerous artisans and crafters that will be present....

Lewis Holiday Bazaar Saturday 11/7/09!

Our first holiday event of the year! On Saturday November 7th we will be at the Lewis Holiday Bazaar at 4401 SE Evergreen Street, Portland, OR, 97206. There is a central cashier at this event so you only have to pay once also which is kind of different and which accepts cash and credit cards. Also, 30% of our sales go directly to the Lewis Elementary PTA! Please come check us out and also some of our very awesome and amazing friends Big Woo Wear and Little Daisy Chains! We are very excited about this event as it has a ton of vendors and handmade goodness to see :)

Halloween Bazaar~Hip Happening! Oct. 17th, '09

Join us at our Halloween bazaar at the Hip Happening's monthly craft bazaar. We will be there Saturday October 17th from 11 am to 5 pm at 7126 SE Milwaukie Ave. It's at the Sellwood Masonic Lodge right in the heart of Sellwood. There'll be spooky decorations, face painting, and a big pumpkin carving too!

Alberta Street Fair 2009~ 12th Annual

Come and check out the Alberta Street Fair on Saturday, September 19th, 2009! It runs from 11 am to 6 pm and includes a fun and unique parade as well, usually complete with stilt walkers and unicyclists. Alberta Street will be closed from NE 15th Street to NE 30th Street and open to the public for walking along up and down browsing the booths. Urban Designs Unique Jewelry by NW Artists will be in space 98, in between NE 16th and NE 17th Streets in front of Halo Thai. We love events on Alberta! They are fun, crazy, and extremely entertaining! Please come join us :)

Sellwood Park Bazaar...

We'll be at Sellwood Park tomorrow on Wednesday August the 26th. Send all families and people that want to have some lighthearted fun on down to check it all out. If you need directions click on this Portland Parks & Recreation link to Sellwood Park.

Face Painting Fun...

Thought it would be fun to share our face painting pics from the Hip Happening in August. Jen decided she wanted to do it and said I had to do it too! I wasn't so sure. But we pinky sweared and I couldn't let the girl down ha ha. Check out the results... :)

Hip Happening! Saturday August 8th

Please join us at the Hip Happening in Sellwood! It is going to be an awesome sale that is also in conjunction with the Passport to Sellwood neighborhood sale for all the nearby shops. We will be there from 11 am to 6 pm. See you then!

Snowflakes in Sellwood!

We're stoked to be a part of Snowflakes in Sellwood! A holiday bazaar held in the heart of the Sellwood neighborhood. It is sponsered by Portland Parks & Recreation and is held at the local Sellwood Community Center at 1436 SE Spokane Street, Portland, OR, 97202. Check out their link above via the Parks website to get any more information. This is sure to be one of our fantastic holiday shows! There are over 80 vendors scheduled! There are two floors and also several rooms on the main level to explore including an entire gymnasium. Come join in the fun!
